Seven blasts rocked Jaipur, Over 80 killed

Today was one of the shittiest day of my life and I AM STILL SHOCKED.

Was it because India tested nuclear bomb inPokharan 10 years ago on same date......?

Seven major blast rocked different parts of Jaipur on Tuesday in which 80 killed & more than 150 injured. Blast at Sanganer Gate, Manik chowk, Marak chowk & Chandpole. The blast that took place in Chandpole is being attributed to an exploding cylinder.

Locations and time of bomb blast
Chandpol 7.30
Manekchowk 7.30
chhoti chaupad 7.30
johri bazaar 7.30
Tripolia 7.38

All these areas are heavily crowded market areas...equivalent to Chandni Chowk of Delhi. As blast occurred at 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm I am quite amazed at less number of casualties and I really thank god for that at least.
All these Chandpole .Manik chowk etc are part of Old Walled city of Jaipur that forms the core of Jaipur name as Pink city.

All the walls of these market are painted from generation in a pinkish color.
Such a beautiful heritage place being bombed by these terrorist is a crime.Just next to this market may be 100 meters is wold famous City Palace and Hawa Mahal.

As I have been born and brought up in Jaipur I know how beautiful these places was and they have huge heritage value.

The blast took place in Tripolia Bazar where a Hanuman Temple drew a large of devotees today, Manas Chowk, Badi Choupal, Choti Choupal & Johari Bazar. High alert has been declared in all major cities including New Delhi.

All the blasts took place within a space of 15 minutes. The blasts set off panic & near-stampede situation at all the five congested localities. One blast went off in a car while another at a shop. The blast that took place in Chandpole is being attributed to an exploding cylinder.

Scores of wounded people were ferried to hospitals soon after the blasts took place at Tripolia Bazar, where large number of devotees turned at a Hanuman temple, Johari Bazar, Manas Chowk, Badi Choupal and Choti Choupal in the walled part of the state capital.

One of the blasts took place in a car & another near a hand loom shop in Kotwali area of the city.

The blast were of medium range and set off splinters in a diameter of 50 feet.
The injured have been rushed to Sawai Man Singh hospital.

My mother told me in morning, that she is going to shop for me as she was supposed to join me for passing out parade of my sister who is in Air Force at end of this month.
I know my mother shops at these major places where the blasts occurred.

Thank god she is fine. But these dumb telecoms guys are blaring on TV that they have jammed all the lines ...what the hell you moron creatures/
It took me 45 minutes to call and check the status of my parents.
Mind you we have 3 telephone connections(2 land lines and 1 mobile).

Its really heart-breaking the way these moron telephone network guys behave in case of an emergency.
